Space Flight
Space flight history includes many different events. For example, the first NASA human space flight took place in the year 1961, which was the first manned suborbital (not complete orbit) trip. The First manned space flight ever was completed by the Soviet Union. This happened in the same year, just shortly before NASA’s first trip. The first trip ever had completed one orbit. According to the history of space flight, the first space shuttle flight to orbit the moon was sent up by NASA. This happened in the year 1968, just a few years after an Apollo 1 fatality. The aircraft that first orbited the moon was Apollo 8. In the year 1969 Apollo 11 was sent up, and this vessel was used in the first moon landing to ever take place. There are so many ways to learn about space flight history. For example, the Goddard Space Center, which was established in the year 1969, used all kinds of educational tool. This Center’s main mission is to teach people about the Earth, Moon, Stars, and the rest of the Solar System. There are also other ways to learn about space flight history as well. For example, there are different online space flight simulator programs that teach people about all aspects of space travel. Furthermore, there are space centers which feature different spaced shuttle flight simulator opportunities for further hands-on learning. |

Often those who have already learn quite a bit about space flight history may want to embark on a more in-depth learning opportunity. This may be the case of many people, including those who are employed as a uniformed member of government, such as the military. There often is Space A military flights available for people who need them. These are offered by the U.S. Department of Defense offers this opportunity to people who want to do further research, or for those who simply just need a ride. That is their benefit as a military force member (or other uniformed worker) and they often will use that benefit for the practice of further research. In fact, many adventurous military personnel have taken off-duty trips overseas. Travel space is often available on these military flights, and is given out free of charge. |
